IT Operations Intern (f/m/d)

Intern / Student, Full-time · München

Description
At QuantumDiamonds, we turn quantum physics into real-world impact - enabling the next generation of semiconductor innovation. As we scale globally, the robustness of our internal systems and the security of our high-tech facility become critical to our success.

As our IT Operations Intern, you will work within the CEO Office, having a direct impact on the most critical operational topics required to bring the company to global leadership. You will play a key role in building and maintaining the digital and physical infrastructure that powers our mission. You'll take supportive ownership of IT setup, facility scaling, and cybersecurity - directly contributing to the operational excellence of our labs and offices.

Working closely with leadership, you will help translate strategic priorities into a scalable, secure, and high-performing technical environment. This is a hands-on role at the intersection of IT Infrastructure, Security, and Global Scaling - designed for someone who wants to build the operational backbone of a world-leading deep-tech company.
Who we are
Founded in 2022 as a spin-off of TU Munich, QD leverages quantum sensors to rapidly capture three-dimensional current maps within multi-layer chips. Our strong team of over 50 physicists, engineers, and data scientists works side by side with major semiconductor manufacturers, helping them in chip debugging and accelerating their yield analysis. Backed by top-tier deep tech investors, semiconductor experts, and strategic public programs, we have ensured long-term stability, shifting from breakthrough to scale - and shaping the next chapter in chip testing.
Why join us?
Picture this:
A mission-critical infrastructure that never sleeps. While our sensors catch what others miss in milliseconds, you are part of the team ensuring the digital backbone stays unbreakable. This is where high-end physics meets professional IT operations.
