Description
We are seeking a skilled mechanical or optical engineer to support the development and automation of our quantum sensing measurement systems. In this role, you will design and optimize high-stability components and motion assemblies that enable sub-micron positioning and reproducible measurements. You will work on high precision optics in both laser optics and the microscopy field. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary engineering team, our engineering partners, and vendors to bring the first commercial generation of our precision instruments to market.
Who we are
Founded in 2022 as a spin-off of TU Munich, QD leverages quantum sensors to rapidly capture three-dimensional current maps within multi-layer chips. Our 30-strong team of physicists, engineers, and data scientists works side by side with major semiconductor manufacturers, helping them in chip debugging and accelerating their yield analysis. Backed by top-tier deep tech investors, semiconductor experts, and strategic public programmes, we have ensured long-term stability, shifting from breakthrough to scale - and shaping the next chapter in chip testing.
About us
QuantumDiamonds develops and deploys world-leading quantum sensing technologies and tools for the failure analysis and metrology of a new generation of semiconductor chips, enabling innovation within the heterogeneous integration and advanced packaging era. In close collaboration with leading customers across the globe, our expert teams of quantum physicists, engineers, and data scientists design metrology tools that move the industry forward.
