We are currently seeking a hardware engineer with a background in any of these areas — quantum engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or materials science — to contribute to the development of advanced technologies. If you have strong experience in hardware design, hands-on lab work, and a passion for solving complex, high-impact challenges, we want to hear from you. While experience in quantum sensing, particularly NV-based systems, is a plus, candidates with expertise in broader hardware engineering disciplines will also thrive in this role.

What will you do
  • Design, build, and optimize state-of-the-art quantum sensor technology
  • Conduct measurements on cutting-edge semiconductor devices
  • Stay updated with the latest quantum sensing trends, and provide insights for continuous improvement
  • Contribute to the documentation of design specifications, test procedures, and technical reports
What is expected of you
  • Currently pursuing a Master's degree or PhD in Physics, EE, or relevant field
  • Hands-on experience in hardware design
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C++
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug
  • You are a high achiever who thrives in a fast-paced environment where things get done
  • You are collaborative, humble, and a problem-solver passionate about making an impact
The following are considered strong assets:

  • Experience in CW-ODMR
  • Experience with NV pulse sequences and AC sensing
  • Knowledge of modern semiconductor device layouts and cross-sections
