Who we are

At Quantum Diamonds, our mission is to build a global quantum sensing platform that fosters advancements in diverse fields, ranging from semiconductor manufacturing to biotechnology and chemistry.

As a spin-off from the Technical University of Munich (TUM), we leverage our multiyear experience in nitrogen doping, vacancy creation, acid cleaning, and temperature treatment to create NV diamonds with the required quantum properties our customers require.

We have recently raised a substantial seed round and are looking to hire outstanding people and shape quantum sensing together.

The impact you will have

As a Founder Associate (Intern), you'll be the right-hand person to our CEO, Kevin Berghoff. Your role will encompass a diverse array of tasks and projects, giving you exposure to most of the business aspects at Quantum Diamonds.

More specifically, you will:

As a Founders Associate Intern, you will become a part of the operational business and contribute to keeping the company on track
You will collaborate with relevant stakeholders from all departments to identify and develop solutions, which you will subsequently implement using analytical methods and a keen sense of emerging opportunities
You will be involved in projects of high importance to the company, assisting in the conceptualization, planning, and implementation of cross-functional programs and initiatives
You will work cross-functionally with departments and the senior leadership to facilitate further company growth

What you will need to succeed at Quantum Diamonds

You have successfully completed your bachelor's degree in a natural science discipline at a top university, and you are in the transitional phase between bachelor's and master's and wish to undertake a 3-6-month internship
You have gained initial practical experience through internships in a high-paced environment such as startups/scaleups, consulting, or investment banking
You are fluent in both German and English, both spoken and written
You are a high achiever who thrives in a fast-paced environment where things get done
You are collaborative, humble and a problem-solver passionate about quantum physics and making an impact
